A total of 787 or 2.73 percent of candidates in Perak scored A in all subjects for 2021 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) which was announced on Thursday.
Meanwhile, 17 candidates obtained A+ in all subjects.
Deputy Director of Education in the Learning Sector, Rahimah Mohamed said, a total of 28,817 candidates sat for the SPM examination in 2021.
She said at a press conference today at the Perak State Education Department that the state average grade index (GPN) for Perak SPM in 2021 is 4.96.
Meanwhile, Rahimah said the average grade of the districts were Batang Padang (5.05), Manjung (5.28), Kinta Utara (4.78), Kerian (4.79), Kuala Kangsar (4.93), Hilir Perak (5.14), Larut Matang and Selama (5.07), Hulu Perak (5.32), Perak Tengah (4.75), Kinta Selatan (5.11) and Bagan Datuk (4.71).
She said a total of 102 candidates with Special Needs (CBK) sat for the SPM examination.
Of the total, two male students, each from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Jati, Ipoh and SMK Panglima Bukit Gantang, Parit Buntar obtained the all As.
