Road Closures and Diversions in Conjunction with the Malaysia Woman Marathon (MWM) 2022 and Launch of the Cancer Screening Cart in Ipoh, Perak

It is informed that the Malaysia Woman Marathon (MWM) 2022 and launch of the Cancer Screening Cart will be held on August 21 2022 (Sunday) at Padang Ipoh, Ipoh, Perak. To ensure the smooth running of the programmes, full road closures and phased road diversions will be implemented.

The roads designated for closures and phased diversions on August 21 2022, which will begin from 3am until 11am are as follows:

1. Jalan Sultan Idris Shah
2. Jalan Sultan Nazrin Shah
3. Jalan Raja Dihilir
4. Jalan Keliling
5. Jalan Dato’ Lau Pak Khuan
6. Jalan Ghazali Jawi
7. Jalan Stadium/Jalan Kompleks Sukan
8. Jalan Lebuh Cecil Rae
9. Jalan Dato’ Ahmad Said
10. Jalan Raja Musa Aziz

With that, road users, especially Ipoh residents, are advised to plan their travels and choose alternative routes to avoid being caught in congestion during these events.
