The Lipstick & Pomade Trail Run 2022 returns for the fifth season and it is set to be more challenging.
Executive Councillor for Housing, Local Government and Tourism, Dato’ Nolee Ashilin binti Dato’ Mohammed Radzi stated that the past four seasons, which had received encouraging response, attracted the interest of Tourism Perak and the Perak Heath and Information Association (PIKP).
“The targeted number of participants for the fifth season is 500 people. To date, more than 300 people have registered and the participation is still open.
“The trail run involves routes of the Orang Asli settlements and villages around Sahom as well as the vicinity.
“The organiser also has selected a few new locations involving further distance. Three categories are carried out namely 30km, 15km and Fun Run of 5km. Participation is open to all Malaysians,” she said during the media conference of the run recently.
The run will be held on October 23 around the Sahom Valley Resort in Kampar. Cash prizes are offered for first to fifth placings.
Present were CEO of Tourism Perak, Nurmalis Musa and Chairperson of PIKP, Noradidah Mokhtar.
According to Nolee, Sahom Valley Resort has been selected as the location for the run as it is a popular ecotourism product in Kampar.
