SMK Raja Chulan was chosen to lead the Low Carbon City initiative

Raja Chulan National Secondary School (SMK Raja Chulan) has been chosen to lead the Low Carbon City initiative due to its location in the Ultra Low Carbon Emission Zone (ULEZ).

Member of the Ipoh City Council (MBI), Dr. Richard Ng said, as an alumni of the school, the achievement made him very proud.

“SMK Raja Chulan is my alma mater, so of course I am proud to carry out my duties as an alumni of this school.

He said this while inaugurating the Localising Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Through Community Engagement Programme at SMK Raja Chulan Ipoh yesterday.

He was invited as a member of the MBI Council while the programme was held in conjunction with the Perak State Level World Urban Planning Day Celebration 2022.

Also present were the Principal of SMK Raja Chulan, Abdul Manaf Asmuni; Urban and Regional Planning Program Coordinator, Gs Dr. Nor Hisham Md Saman; Deputy Director of PLANMalaysia Perak, Jabu Anak Dugu, as well as teachers and students of SMK Raja Chulan.
