The PerakKu Taman Tualang Sekah Phase 2 housing project had been nominated and won the Property Guru Asia Awards Malaysia With IProperty 2022 — Best Mass Market Landed Development (Northern Region) award.

Taman Tualang Sekah is the first Rumah PerakKu project in Perak to win a housing development award at the national level.

It was developed in collaboration with the Perak State Housing and Real Estate Board (LPH) and was successfully completed on schedule.

Taman Tualang Sekah is divided into two phases of which Phase 1 was completed and sold out in 2018.

It contains 54 single-storey terrace units sold at a price of only RM70,000 per unit while Phase 2 contains 20 newly completed two-storey terrace units.

This residence has also been sold out at the price of RM230,000 per unit.

Yesterday, a banquet was held by Mimbar Nusantara to celebrate the award received, alongside partners from government agencies involved, corporate partners, banks and suppliers of building materials.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the State Housing and Local Government Committee, Sandrea Ng representing the Menteri Besar of Perak.

The Managing Director of Mimbar Nusantara, Nazrin Cheong in his speech expressed his gratitude to all parties involved in the project.

According to him, he believes and is confident that the efforts and initiatives and commitment of the Perak government can further increase the development of the affordable housing, Rumah PerakKu project.

“This will provide improvements and opportunities for the people of Perak, especially young people to be able to buy and own their own dream home.

“This Rumah PerakKu project coincides with the state government’s efforts to ensure that the welfare and well-being of the people for the B40 and M40 groups, especially in urban and rural areas, are taken care of,” he said.

He said again, Mimbar Nusantara as a developer has personally witnessed the ability and sincerity of the state government through LPH, which has made many good and perfect plans.

This is to ensure that the target of 50,000 affordable Rumah PerakKu units can be realised by the near future.
