Dangerous Continuous Rain Warning from Department of Meteorology

The Department of Meteorology Malaysia at 5:50 am, 6 February 2023 issued a Dangerous Continuous Rain Warning (Red), a Bad Continuous Rain Warning (Orange) and a Caution Continuous Rain Warning (Yellow), as shown.

Accordingly, the State/District Disaster Management Committee is activated and increases the level of preparedness to face disasters that may occur, especially in high-risk areas.

The State/District Disaster Management Committee also requests to ensure that each temporary evacuation centre (PPS) is equipped with basic requirements and that the Incident Control Post (PKTK) has all sufficient operational assets and is in good condition and ready for use.

NADMA through the National Disaster Control Center (NDCC) will constantly monitor the situation of technical information parameters in collaboration with various agencies.
