Two men were injured after the egg laden lorry they were riding in was hit with a sand laden lorry in a road accident at Jalan Gopeng Kampung Seri Jaya today.
A spokesperson from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak said that they received a call at 12.56 pm informing them of the incident before a team was rushed to the scene.
“The road accident involved two lorries in which an egg carrying lorry hit the back of a sand carrying lorry.
“Causing one victim, from the egg lorry, to get stuck while two victims were not stuck and got out on their own,” he said in a statement today.
He said the team acted to rescue the victim by using special equipment to remove the trapped victim.
“The victim was then handed over to the ambulance for further treatment.
“The whole operation ended at 1.23 pm,” he said.
