Man injured by car falling into a ravine

IPOH: A man was injured after the Kia Forte he was driving crashed into a 30-meter-deep ravine near Kampung Makmur, Ulu Kinta, here last night.

Head of Operations of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak, Senior Fire Officer II Mohd Jalil Hamzah said, he received a call regarding the incident at 7.58 pm.

He said, members from Tambun Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) with the help of Sungai Siput BBP then rushed to the scene of the incident.

“The 25-year-old victim was slightly injured and was taken to the hospital by members of the public before the arrival of the fire department.

“The fire brigade checked the situation and found that there were no other victims in the vehicle,” he told reporters.

The operation ended completely at 10.50 pm.
