Ipoh Echo received certificate of appreciation from PDRM Perak

IPOH: Ipoh Echo’s initiative in publishing news about the success of the Perak Police was recognized when it received a certificate of appreciation in conjunction with the Sambutan Hari Polis Ke-216 PDRM Contingent Perak today.

The certificate was presented by Perak Deputy Chief of Police, Datuk Azizi Mat Aris at a celebration held at the Markas Briged Utara Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA) Ulu Kinta here.

Ipoh Echo Chief Editor, Rosli Mansor Ahmad Razali was present to receive the certificate of appreciation.

Also receiving the same award are 20 other media agencies in the state of Perak.

At the ceremony, a total of 12 officers received the Surat Penghargaan Ketua Polis Perak, PDRM Integrity Award (five) and one officer received the Surat Penghargaan Pengarah Pengurusan PDRM.

As for the public category, two people received the Surat Penghargaan Ketua Polis Perak

Also present at the ceremony was the Menteri Besar of Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

Earlier, the celebration ceremony began with a guard of honor by 53 officers of the Federal Reserve Force (FRU) Unit 5 Ipoh.

The program was decorated with a variety of policing-themed performances including poetry recitations, martial arts, T-Baton and sketch performances.

The celebration ended with a Senoi Praaq war dance performance from the Batalion 3 PGA Bidor.
