BATU GAJAH: Police detected a viral video on social media about the incident of nails that were scattered on the road which is believed to have happened at the traffic light area of Jalan Ipoh-Lumut, Pusing yesterday.
Batu Gajah District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Roy Suhaimi Sarif said that the police also received a police report from a road user who informed them that his car tire was puncture after passing the road.
“The Criminal Investigation Division of Batu Gajah District Headquarters (IPD) has opened investigation papers and the case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief.
“In connection with that, the owner of a Nissan Almera vehicle registration number AJK 869 is being tracked down for further investigation,” he said in a statement today.
