A charity concert by the Kinta Valley Wind Orchestra and the klpac Symphonic Band will take place on April 30 from 3 pm to 5 pm. It will be held at Ipoh’s SMJK Ave Maria Convent’s Dewan Dato Chin Peck Soo.
“A Bit of This, A Bit of That” was Kinta Valley Wind Orchestra’s first collaboration with the klpac Symphonic Band back in 2014.
Now, nine years later, they will be reuniting in Ipoh for the event entitled “A Bit of This, A Bit of That Too”.
There will be various styles and genres of band music showcased. This event, which was co-organised by Ipoh’s Ave Maria Convent Alumni Association, will see all proceeds going toward supporting the Lighthouse Hope Society, which is an NGO serving the hungry, homeless and helpless people of the community, regardless of race or religion, since 2006.
