BUNTONG – A Special Prayer Ceremony Programme with the Indian Youth Community was organised by the Malaysian Indian Youth Council (MIYC) Buntong Branch, which took place at the Sree Maha Muneeswarar Paripalana Sabha Temple, Kampung Simee, Ipoh.
The programme involved a total of 200 participants of high school students, university students and Buntong youth. This programme aimed to get the blessing of Dewa Sree Maha Muneeswarar before sitting the end of semester exams and also to give enthusiasm and confidence to the youth as well as foster leadership and volunteerism in line with the national principles regarding the development of the country’s youth.
The programme ceremony was delivered by Sami Manikandan Sivam, Sri Maha Muneeswarar Temple, Ipoh. Also present were Mr. Thurairaj Arumugam, Assistant Director of CESS ADTEC Taiping Division. Mrs. Amirthavalli, Higher Education Officer, Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO) Ipoh. En Jayagopi Subramaniam, Deputy Chairman of Perak State MIC and Head of Bhg. West Ipoh. Mr Madhavan Balakrishnan, SVC Catering Ipoh and Sdra. Sp Palani, Branch Head of MIYC Sungai Siput, Perak.
MIYC Buntong thanks all parties who put their trust and support in MIYC Buntong, including the Department of Manpower, High Technology Training Center ADTEC Taiping, Industrial Training Institute XTVT ILP IPOH, Ppd Kinta Utara, Ministry of Education Malaysia and Ministry of Higher Education also attended to enliven this programme.
