MANJUNG – Consensus brings blessings!

It is true that if a person or a group is determined to do something, they will succeed in doing it if they are united.

This is shown in the integrated gotong-royong program involving the cleaning of the area in Jalan Api Kong, Ayer Tawar.

It was held by the Department of Environmental Health and City Services and the Manjung Municipal Council.

The work of felling dangerous trees is done by the Landscape Unit’s Shade Tree Maintenance team.

Officers of the Enforcement Department also assisted with public complaints related to the nuisance of vehicle obstacles placed on the shoulder of the road causing danger to the community as well as lowering the banner of moneylenders or Ahlong in Jalan Api Kong, Ayer Tawar.

This program is a community program that was held for the first time after the Resident Committee (JKP) of Zone 17 was successfully established on April 16.

The main purpose of establishing JKP Councilors in their respective zones is to serve as a two-way cooperation platform between MPM and the community.

It is through the role of Councilors as community leaders in empowering municipal community relations and also the need for active community involvement.

This includes programs run by PBT and other government agencies as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
