IPOH – Majuperak Holdings Berhad (MHB) will develop a residential project called Rumah Perakku on a 46.38-hectare land in Mukim Sungai Terap, near Batu Gajah.

The project will be implemented in phases, with the construction of phases one and two commencing simultaneously in September next year.

It involves the construction of 601 affordable housing units, each consisting of four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Executive Chairman of MHB, Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, stated that the estimated selling prices range from RM90,000 to RM300,000, depending on the type of house, and they are expected to be completed by September 2025.

Dato Razak, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk), mentioned that property and infrastructure development are core business segments for MHB.

“As a player in the housing sector, we have developed 14 housing projects with a total Gross Development Value (GDV) exceeding RM1.09 billion.

“Some successful project locations include Mukim Hulu Kinta, Mukim Sungai Terap, and Mukim Changkat Jong,” he said.

He made these remarks during a speech at the signing ceremony for the construction financing between MHB and Bank Rakyat.

Chairman of the Housing and Local Government Committee, Sandrea Ng, and Redza Rafiq were present at the event.

The construction financing facility of RM22 million demonstrates Bank Rakyat’s confidence in MHB’s ability to complete housing development projects.

Through this project, MHB is progressively contributing to the development agenda of Perak Sejahtera 2030 in the affordable housing sector.
