TAIPING – Entrepreneurs in this state are advised to register themselves with the SME Database to facilitate assistance provided to them.
Registration is necessary for the state government to identify relevant information and facilitate the guidance and distribution of necessary aid.
Salbiah Mohamed, Chairperson of the Women’s Committee, Entrepreneurship Development & Cooperatives of Perak stated that the absence of complete data hinders efforts to identify this group.
“When we have complete data, we will know how many entrepreneurs require entrepreneurial guidance, grant loans, and other forms of assistance. With this data, we can align and focus our efforts,” she said.
Perak aims to bring 10 entrepreneurs abroad to enter the export market this year, encompassing various business sectors.
The state government also provides the Geran Gerak, which includes equipment assistance and the provision of an E-post platform for entrepreneurs in need.
This initiative involves an allocation of RM 1.35 million provided by the state government.
