By: Rosli Mansor Ahmad Razali

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the city of Ipoh, lies a hidden gem – a luxurious, exclusive, and private retreat.

A stay at the Chief’s Villa Floating Chalet, Lost World Of Tambun (LWOT), feels like a glimpse of paradise surrounded by a serene lake, offering boundless inspiration.

The excitement peaks when thousands of fish in the lake swim towards us as if welcoming us with open fins.

Here, one can truly connect with nature and delve into the mysteries of the universe.

The villa’s location facing the “Needle of Tambun,” a natural monument formed within the Geotapak Cluster of Gunung Datok, offers a mesmerizing view.

Mohamad Albana, a 42-year-old traveller from Dubai, described his LWOT vacation and stay at the Floating Villa as an unforgettable experience.

“LWOT is a captivating and unique holiday destination. Its untouched natural beauty and lack of pollution offer a variety of family-friendly activities.

“The lush greenery of nature, the tranquillity of the lake, the freshness of the flora, and the uniqueness of the limestone hills compel me to share my daily experiences on social media.

“Activities like Zip Line, Kayak Mania, Boga Cruise, and Stand Up Paddling caught my attention, and they were incredibly enjoyable.

“Feeding the thousands of fish in the lake and kayaking to the end of the lake were exceptional experiences I’ve never encountered before.

“A one-night stay in this villa is not enough, as the ambience during the day and night are entirely different. There are no words to describe it; you have to experience it for yourself,” he said.

A local visitor, Nurul Sarah Hijazi, aged 38, shared that the BBQ activity with her family on the villa’s upper deck was equally captivating.

“Savoring afternoon tea and dinner with a BBQ on the villa’s upper deck was a new experience for me.

“I was thrilled by the serene sunset, especially during the night when I gazed at the star-studded sky, accompanied by the rhythm of the night. It was so romantic and touching,” she said

The allure doesn’t stop there; glamping around the lake is equally enchanting. Although the price may be a bit higher, the comfort and amenities of glamping are comparable to staying in a hotel room.

The excitement of the LWOT vacation doesn’t end there; numerous nighttime activities await you to explore and experience.
