IPOH: As an initiative to rekindle the spirit of Merdeka, Kazoku Car Wash takes the approach of giving free Jalur Gemilang to every customer who uses its services throughout this national month.

The manager of Kazoku Car Wash, Abdul Salim Putera Ahmad Shibi said, it is one of his efforts to create an atmosphere for the National Month which is seen to be fading and not as lively as before.

He said the car wash has only been open for a month and started giving free flags to customers this week.

“When we enter the month of independence, we see that there are not many flags flying at houses and also on vehicles.

“So, we give these flags for free so that everyone has the spirit to fly the flag,” he told reporters when met at the car wash here.

Abdul Salim Putera said, so far in the first week, almost 100 flag sticks and large flags have been given to customers.

He said, he also called out all dealers and departments in the state to move together in spreading the spirit of independence at every level, especially to the younger generation.

“It’s okay, let us start to inspire everyone.

“We want to express the spirit of love and affection for the country so that at least on Merdeka Day they will put up the flag,” he said.

According to him, the car wash service is open from 9 am to 8 pm every day except Friday.
