Police searching for a mentally disabled woman missing since August 1

TELUK INTAN: Police are asking for the public’s help in searching for a 31-year-old woman who is a missing person (OH) and a mentally disabled person (OKU) card holder.

Hilir Perak District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Adnan Basri said the woman, known as Nur Faizatul Azwani Kasim, had been reported missing since August 1.

“The woman reportedly did not return home after getting off at Bandar Baru Teluk Intan Bus Station on August 1 at about 2pm.

“People who have information or have seen OH as in the picture displayed are asked to contact the police to pass on the information,” he told reporters on Tuesday.

He said that anyone with information regarding the matter can contact the investigating officer of the case, Inspector Mohd Nurhalim Shamsuri at 013-9685829, Hilir Perak District Police Headquarters 05-6299222 or come to any nearby police station.
