TANJONG MALIM: Tanjung Malim’s car-free day program was filled with vibrancy and resonated to the theme of the National Month celebration.
Organized by the Tanjong Malim District Council (MDTM) this was the second time it was held with the theme of independence in conjunction with the National Month.
Located at Dataran RM Idris here, the event was attended by the President of MDTM, Mohd Ikram Ahmad.
“This program was filled with various interesting activities including cycling for 8 kilometres around Tanjong Malim town.
“There was also a coloring competition, poetry recitation, sports, batik making demonstrations and clay sculpting.
“We also distributed Jalur Gemilang to business premises around Tanjong Malim town to be flown throughout this month,” he said.
Some roads involved were closed from 6.30am to 12.30pm.
Also present were State Assembly Member Behrang Salina Samsudin and Assemblyman Slim Muhammad Zulfadli Zainal.
