We live in an era where an errant cough from a stranger would cause us to tense up in anxiety due to the Covid-19 scare. But a pandemic causing disease isn’t the only source of coughing and poor lung health.

Join the free Clean Lungs Seminar at Yayasan Ipoh (YI)’s Convention Centre this September 23 (Saturday) from 8 am to 12 pm, as top experts discuss this politically hot topic; with the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and CEO of Yayasan Ipoh, Dato’ Dr. Ramanathan Ramiah, providing both the keynote address as well as giving a talk.

Not only will doctors from Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun be there to discuss various related topics, but so will Mr. Muhammad Sha’ani B Abdullah, the Secretary General from the Malaysian Council for Tobacco Control (MCTC) as well.

This seminar won’t simply make noise about the problem, but will discuss solutions such as the importance of rehab and the pharmacological advances in ceasing smoking.
