IPOH:The Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a leading Chinese company, Shanghai TusStar Business Incubator Co. Ltd (TusStar).

This MoU represents a collaboration to make Perak a destination for innovative entrepreneurs, aiming to strengthen innovation and boost the economic growth of the state. It is also part of the agenda for a delegation from the Perak state government led by Menteri Besar Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

In a statement, Saarani announced that this collaboration through PKNPk will leverage TusStar’s global network, resources, and best practices to improve the business environment and promote entrepreneurship in Perak.

“This collaboration reflects Perak’s commitment to driving growth in the digital, technology, and renewable energy sectors while increasing foreign investor interest in Perak as a preferred technology hub.

“TusStar is a globally recognized leader in business incubation and entrepreneurial innovation with a track record spanning over 23 years in 90 cities worldwide.

“They have nurtured over 20,000 service entrepreneurs globally and have been instrumental in the emergence of leading global companies,” he said.

This MoU will see both parties exploring several areas of cooperation, including inviting innovative entrepreneurs with businesses that have the potential to expand and grow in Perak.

This opens up opportunities for our entrepreneurs to explore sectors such as electric vehicle (EV) ecosystems, smart agriculture, and renewable energy.
