Three Perak athletes receive medals for their achievements at the Asian Games

IPOH – The Mufti of Perak State, Sahibus Samahah Dato’ Haji Wan Zahidi Wan Teh, led the list of 238 recipients of the 67th Perak State Honours and Medals, presented by Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah of Perak.

He was conferred with the Dato’ Seri Paduka Mahkota Perak (SPMP) which carries the title Dato’ Seri.

Also honoured with the same title was the Director-General of Public Service (KPPA), Dato’ Dr. Zulkapli Mohamed.

The Chief of the Armed Forces, General Tan Sri Mohammad Ab Rahman, and the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, were both conferred with the Dato’ Seri Panglima Taming Sari (SPTS) which carries the title Dato’ Seri Panglima.

State Financial Officer, Mohd Zaki Mahyudin, received the Dato’ Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (DPCM) which carries the title Dato’.

Meanwhile, a total of 13 recipients were awarded the Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP) which also carries the title Dato’.

Among them were the Women, Family, Social Welfare, Cooperatives, and Entrepreneurial Development State Exco, Salbiah Mohamed, the State Director of Public Works Department, Ir. Hamdan Ali, and the State Director of Education Department, Mohamad Fauzi Mahson.

Two Perak athletes who achieved success at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, were honoured with the Service Medal (PJK), namely Muhammad Azeem Mohd Fahmi, Shereen Samson, and Muhd Shafiq Puteh.
