4 injured, one survived in a 3 vehicle accident

BATU GAJAH: Four injured while one survived in a road accident involving three vehicles at Batu 6, Jalan Tanjung Tualang, here today.

Assistant Director Operations of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, stated that the accident involved a Proton Perdana, Perodua Kelisa and Perodua Kancil.

Sabarodzi mentioned that they received the call about the incident at 3:02 pm and firefighters from Batu Gajah Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene.

“There were five victims in total, four injured but not trapped and one survived.

“All of them had been evacuated by the public before the fire brigade arrived at the location,” he said in a statement here today.

Therefore, he said, the firefighters provided medical assistance to the victims and handed them over to the personnel of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) for further action.

The operation, led by Senior Fire Officer II Azlan Che In finished at 3:40 pm.
