Are you aware of the various schemes such as The Housewives’ Social Security Scheme (SKSSR), which was implemented on 1 December 2022 under the Housewives’ Social Security Act 2022, aimed at providing social security protection to housewives against domestic injury and invalidity while managing the household? Or The Self-Employment Social Security Scheme, which was introduced to provide protection for individuals who are self-employed under the provisions of the Self-Employment Social Security Act 2017?
There will be a briefing tomorrow for the Sikh community, to inform and educate them on the various schemes from the Social Security Organization (SOCSO), also known as Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO), such as the:
- Employee Protection Scheme
- Perkeso Benefit Scheme
- Social Security Scheme
- Housewife Related Scheme
In addition, there will be a booth set up on the day to provide further information or to sign up to the schemes.
