Ipoh: A total of 1,525 graduates were conferred with degrees and diplomas at the 16th Convocation Ceremony of Sultan Azlan Shah University (USAS) held at the university campus in Kuala Kangsar.
His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah of Perak graced the ceremony with his presence.
His Royal Highness also bestowed five awards for academic excellence to outstanding students.
The Tuanku Chancellor Award was presented to Mohamed Aiedil Putera Sulaiman; Muhammad Asyraf Mohd Zamri received the Perak Chief Minister’s Award, and Aljazira Zainal was honoured with the USAS Vice-Chancellor’s Award.
The Best Faculty of Islamic Studies and Social Sciences Award was presented to Luqman Haqim Awang Kecil and Mohamad Syahrul Asad Ab Malik.
Meanwhile, the Best Faculty of Management and Information Technology Award was given to Siti Nur Izzati Jumali and Nurdania Fatihah Mohd Rohaizan.
