BAGAN SERAI: The issue of the collapsed road at Parit 3 Selinsing has been repaired and reconstructed for public use.
The local residents are relieved because the previous road damage could have been dangerous.
Member of Parliament for Bagan Serai, Datuk Idris Ahmad, expressed gratitude to all parties involved in resolving the matter.
“Another public complaint has been resolved.
“Millions of thanks to the Kerian District Office and the Kerian Irrigation and Drainage Department for their excellent repair work on the collapsed road in this village.
“This includes building road pillars to prevent a recurrence of such incidents,” he shared on social media.
Previously, complaints were forwarded through the State Assemblyman for Selinsing, Sallehuddin Abdullah, and the Bagan Serai Parliament Service Center for necessary repairs due to the hazardous condition of the road.
It is hoped that the road can be utilized effectively and that such road collapse incidents will not recur.
