BERUAS: A community cleaning activity for the homes of the underprivileged was conducted in Kampung Batu 36, Sitiawan – Beruas involving collaboration among various agencies.
The chosen house is the residence of a senior citizen who also receives monthly assistance from the Department of Social Welfare (JKM).
This community program includes cleaning the surroundings of the residential area to ensure the occupants can live in ideal conditions.
It is organised by JKM Manjung in collaboration with volunteers from the Welfare and Social Concern Association of the State of Perak, the Mukim Beruas District Office, and the Manjung Municipal Council.
Leading the communal effort is the State Assemblyman (ADUN) of Pengkalan Baharu, Azman Noh.
He also presented contributions to the residents of that house.
