By Zaki Salleh

IPOH: The need for obtaining blood supply throughout this Ramadan sees the Blood Bank Unit of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) taking a creative approach.

Apart from the usual blood donation campaigns, the Blood Donation Unit of HRPB will be organizing a blood donation program in six selected mosques during Ramadan.

The blood donation session will take place from 8 PM to 10 PM to accommodate the mosque congregants eligible for donation.

The participating mosques include Masjid Jamek Klebang Restu on March 14, Masjid Jamek Chemor on March 15, Masjid Sultan Azlan Shah @ Institut Tadbiran Islam (INTIM) on March 19, and Masjid al-Ansar Meru on March 20

The next two locations are Masjid Muhammadiah or the Chinese Mosque in Tasek on March 22, and Masjid Kledang Jaya on March 27.

People can also come directly to the HPRB Blood Donation Unit from March 13 to April 8, except on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 am to 9:30 pm.

Iftar meals are also provided but limited to 20 people daily.

In addition to this location, the HRPB Blood Donation Unit will be available as usual at AEON Station 18 and AEON Kinta City shopping centers every day starting at 10 am.
