Shafa’aton appointed as the Chief of the Perak Police Management Department

IPOH: Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Shafa’aton Abu Bakar has been appointed as the new Chief of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) Management Department in Perak.

Previously, Shafa’aton served as the Chief of Police of Sungai Buloh District, Selangor.

Shafa’aton took over the duties previously held by the Administrative Superintendent, Loh Wooi Kee.

Shafa’aton’s appointment is to replace ACP Noraziah Zakaria who retired on February 2nd.

The rank presentation ceremony for ACP Shafa’aton was officiated by the Perak Chief of Police, Datuk Sri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri.

During the same ceremony, the handover of duties for two other positions took place, the Chief of Investigation and Traffic Enforcement Department of the Perak Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the District Police Chief of Batu Gajah.

ACP Md Noor Aehawan Mohammad assumed the position of District Police Chief of Batu Gajah, previously held by ACP Mohamad Roy Suhaimi Sarif.

Mohamad Roy Suhaimi will transfer to the Deputy Director (Competency Assessment Management) role in the Human Resources Policy Division, Bukit Aman Management Department.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Investigation and Traffic Enforcement Department of PDRM Perak, Superintendent Mohd Mahiri Hussin, handed over duties to Superintendent Sahimi Husin.

Mohd Mahiri transferred to the Government Officer role in Unit 6, Federal Reserve Unit in Terengganu.
