IPOH: As the celebration of Aidilfitri approaches, the public will enjoy discounts on essential items such as chicken, eggs, and meat.
This good news was announced during the launch of the Jualan Rahmah (Rahmah Sale) program, which will run from March 20th to April 2nd, 2024, by the Perak State Development Corporation (SADC).
The Perak Chief Minister and Chairman of the Perak SADC Group, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, stated that purchases can be made via pre-orders on specified dates.
“The quantity and type of goods, location, and frequency of sales also influence high demand when sales are made directly,” he told the media during the Pre-Order Launch Ceremony of the Aidilfitri Rahmah Sale 2024 at the Perak SADC Headquarters today.
It was also announced that chicken will be sold at RM6 each, while solid meat will be sold at RM32 per kilogram, and eggs will be sold at RM10 per box.
Furthermore, Saarani also disclosed the prices for ‘batang pinang’ meat (RM39 per kilogram), rib bones (RM28 per kilogram), bones (RM26 per kilogram), organs (RM16 per kilogram), and gearbox (RM10 per unit). Cow heads are sold at RM60 each, while cow legs are RM60 each.
In other developments, Saarani announced that a total allocation of RM4.77 million has been distributed to benefit 1,129 entrepreneurs throughout 2023. This assistance program includes various initiatives such as Interest-Free Loans, Asnaf Entrepreneur Grants, Agrofest, and Women Entrepreneur Empowerment Programs.
The Handover Ceremony of the Perak State Mobile Shop Lori Donation (KBNP) worth RM300,000 to the Yayasan Bina Upaya (YBU) Darul Ridzuan and the Pledge Ceremony for the Perak SADC Subsidy Allocation Fund worth RM3 million for the Perak State Mobile Shop Sale Program 2024, in collaboration with Yayasan Bina Upaya (YBU), were also conducted by Saarani.
