IPOH: A total of 39 police personnel were promoted during the Monthly Assembly of the Perak Police Chief for April 2024 at the Perak Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK) Square.
Among them were six Low-Ranked Police Officers who were promoted from Sergeant Major to Sub Inspector, while 33 were promoted from Sergeant to Sergeant Major.
The promotion ceremony was officiated by the Perak Chief of Police, Datuk Sri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri.
In his speech during the ceremony, he advised those who were promoted to demonstrate a positive attitude and high integrity to their subordinates so they can be exemplary.
He also reminded all police personnel in Perak to remain committed to providing services to the community to ensure safety and security.
“All Perak police personnel are also urged to carry out their duties with trust, honesty, sincerity without expecting any reward and not to engage in actions that tarnish the reputation of the force,” he said.
