IPOH: The main road of Bandar Seri Botani, spanning 6 kilometers (km), has been resurfaced to provide comfort to its thousands of users.
This road has been constructed and maintained by Pinji Botanics Sdn. Bhd. (PBSB) since 2004.
The resurfacing of this road was carried out by PBSB in collaboration with the Ipoh City Council through the ‘Private Funding Initiative’ method involving a cost of RM1.8 million.
Operations Director of Pinji Botanics Sdn. Bhd., Lee Chalk Hien, stated that after this, the road will be handed back to the local authorities,MBI, for maintenance.
According to him, the main road of Bandar Seri Botani is a connecting road to surrounding areas.
“These include Batu Gajah, Manjung, Menglembu, Papan, Gopeng, Simpang Pulai, and various others in reducing the time and distance of travel to Bandar Seri Botani and Ipoh City.
“Pinji Botanics Sdn. Bhd. is very pleased to play a role in resurfacing this road for the comfort of users and the Bandar Seri Botani community,” he said.
He made these remarks during the opening ceremony of the main road of Bandar Seri Botani in Botani Village here today.
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Minister of Housing and Local Government, Nga Kor Ming.
Also present was the Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin.
Bandar Seri Botani, developed in a planned manner by the prestigious property developer, Taiko Group of Companies, is a model development area in South Ipoh.
Bandar Seri Botani, which has approximately 7,000 various types of residences, is rapidly developing, including having a recognized recreational park.
Meanwhile, Kor Ming praised PBSB’s initiative in implementing this road resurfacing project.
Therefore, he urged more housing development companies, especially in the state of Perak, to take similar steps to reduce the government’s burden.
