MANJUNG: The Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) organized a Systematic Waste Management Program at Pasir Bogak Beach, Pangkor Island.
Activities included a communal clean-up of Pasir Bogak Beach to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability.


Additionally, briefings on Systematic Solid Waste Management were provided by representatives from Maju Perak Utilities Sdn. Bhd., and a Recycling Program briefing was delivered by the Environmental Health Unit of MPM.
The program also featured a lucky draw for 30 participants.


The event was attended by Mohamad Syafiq Shafiei, Director of the Environmental Health and Municipal Services Department at MPM, as well as teachers and students from SMK Pangkor.
In another development, the Manjung District Youth and Sports Office, in collaboration with MPM, organized the Rakan Bumi: Plogging Community Program for Manjung District 2024 at Bukit 300, Teluk Batik, Lumut.


This program involved students from Manjung Community College and Universiti Kuala Lumpur MIMET, Lumut, along with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Its objective was to promote an active lifestyle through activities such as jungle trekking, hill climbing, walking, running, and cycling.
The program was officiated by Azlan Hussain, District Youth and Sports Officer for Manjung.
