IPOH: Senior citizens in Perak now have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive holiday at more affordable prices through the Sanjung Perak Sejahtera 2030 Program.
This program offers accommodation at RM180 per night and a 15% discount on à la carte meals at the Coffee House, Hotel Casuarina@Meru.
The offer is available to senior citizens aged 60 and above, making quality holidays more accessible.
This pilot project is a social initiative led by the Perak State Development Corporation (PKNPk) through its subsidiary, Hotel Casuarina@Meru.
It is supported by the Perak Women’s Secretariat (Wanita Perak) for the accommodation voucher discount for senior citizens.
PKNPk CEO, Datuk Redza Rafiq Abdul Razak, said the Sanjung program is an approach designed to integrate social elements in efforts to achieve economic balance.
He explained that it incorporates innovation through ideas and concepts aimed at improving social well-being, in line with the aspirations of Perak Sejahtera 2030.
“As the leader in hospitality in the state of Perak, PKNPk and Hotel Casuarina are deeply concerned about providing comfortable facilities for people with disabilities and senior citizens.
“Several improvements have been made by Hotel Casuarina@Meru, such as additional special parking spaces, ramp facilities, panic buttons in rooms, and special toilets in the lobby.”
The Sanjung Perak Sejahtera 2030 program is expected to be a catalyst for strengthening the local tourism economy and making Perak a senior citizen-friendly tourism destination,” he said.
A total of 300 vouchers are available for this promotion.
Redemptions can be made through the website www.casuarinahotels.com.my, and a link to the online Google form is also available on the Facebook page and website of the Perak Women’s Secretariat.
