IPOH: The smooth running of the Thaipusam celebration in Ipoh city was also supported by the hard-working cleaning staff who ensured cleanliness during the event.
As in previous years, the Ipoh City Council’s (MBI) Municipal Services Department made their best efforts to maintain cleanliness.
Councilor and Chairman of MBI’s Small Committee on Non-Muslim Affairs, Lawrence Palanisamy, informed that the cleaning work took place yesterday from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.
The areas involved included Jalan Sultan Idris Shah and Jalan Raja Musa Aziz.
The work included washing, sweeping, and trash collection.
This is part of MBI’s ongoing commitment to ensuring optimal cleanliness at event sites and public areas in Ipoh city, thus maintaining a comfortable and organized atmosphere throughout the celebration.
