MK Ambulance Personnel on Standby at Stadium Ramadan Bazaar

By: Zaki Salleh

Ipoh – A dedicated team of medical personnel remains on high alert at the Stadium Ramadan Bazaar, ready to respond to any emergencies that may arise.

These responders are from MK Ambulance, tasked with ensuring public safety as large crowds gather at the bustling bazaar.

Founder and Director of My Healthcare Services, Mazhar Kadir, said his team provides ambulance services and a medical response unit stationed at the bazaar premises.

“This service is crucial in handling potential medical emergencies, including injuries, exhaustion, or health conditions requiring immediate attention.

“Our ambulances are equipped with essential medical equipment, and our trained medical personnel are ready to provide immediate assistance to the public,” he told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.

Mazhar added that the presence of MK Ambulance reassures visitors that medical aid is always available in case of an emergency.

Previously, Perak Housing and Local Government Executive Councillor Sandrea Ng Shy Ching stated that several Ramadan bazaars in Ipoh now provide ambulance services for emergencies.

She noted that such initiatives are organised by major Ramadan bazaars, including the one at Perak Stadium, with additional personnel monitoring visitor safety alongside enforcement officers.

The deployment of medical teams follows a recommendation from the Ministry of Health after an elderly man passed away at a Ramadan bazaar in Baling, Kedah, last Sunday.
