IPOH: A total cash prize of RM65,000 awaits the winners of the Concept Design Idea Competition for the Proposed Upgrading of Ipoh Central Market.
This competition will target design concepts for a market that is pedestrian-friendly, incorporates elements of environmental sustainability, and promotes energy efficiency.
It aligns with the requirements set by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT).
With its new look, the market is expected to attract more visitors, allowing them to experience the uniqueness of Ipoh Central Market.
In this regard, the Ipoh City Council (MBI) invites all qualified individuals to participate in the competition.
Participation is open to all architects, graduate architects, interior designers, and students in architecture and architectural studies who are Malaysian citizens.
Entries can be submitted individually or in groups, with each submission receiving a digital certificate.
The submission deadline is April 30, 2025.
