GOPENG: Not sure where to dispose of your recyclable items?
In fact, these recyclable items can be exchanged for cash.
This is exactly what’s being done by the Gopeng Member of Parliament’s Service Centre and the Teja State Assemblyman in collaboration with the Kampar District Council through the 3R Recycling Program.
The program will take place this Saturday at the Kampung Baru Lawan Kuda Multipurpose Hall, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Accepted recyclable items include electronic waste (E-waste) and used cooking oil.
Additionally, the organizers have also arranged for the Yayasan Bina Upaya (YBU) Mobile Store to be present.
Attractive offers include a whole chicken for only RM6 and a tray of eggs for RM10 when visitors spend RM25 or more.
The program also offers daily essentials at 15% off the regular market price.
