In every classroom, family, and community, there are minds that think differently, but what if the world listened more closely?
This May, the Rotary Club of Greentown invites you to “Embracing Neurodiversity”. It is a full-day seminar built on empathy, understanding, and evidence-based practices. This is also a movement to shift the way we see and support neurodivergent individuals, especially children.
Officiated by YB Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, Deputy Speaker of the Perak State Legislative Assembly, this seminar is a call to action for parents, teachers, therapists, caregivers, and professionals who believe in building inclusive spaces where every brain belongs.
The day’s conversations will revolve around real-life challenges and transformative insights, delivered by a panel of compassionate experts:

A Pediatrician with over 20 years of experience, she specializes in autism, neurodiversity inclusion, and trauma-informed approaches. Her work is grounded in advocacy, training, and creating supportive environments for neurodivergent individuals.

Paediatrician and ICF Master Certified Coach with 30+ years of experience. Founder of Firstbridge Early Intervention Centre and author of WHY ME. He champions inclusion through leadership coaching, parent education, and breaking down systemic barriers for neurodivergent children and their families.

Occupational Therapist with 8 years of experience in dyslexia, play therapy, and social skills. She promotes play-based learning and acceptance of neurodiversity as a platform for mutual growth, focusing on inclusive environments that support children’s creativity and connection.

A Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta with extensive experience across clinical settings. She specializes in diagnosing and treating ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, and behavioral challenges. Dr. Farah takes a holistic, collaborative approach, working closely with families, schools, and professionals to support young people’s mental health and well-being.
The overwhelming response to this event reflects a powerful shift in community awareness and commitment. Bringing together a large and passionate group of individuals that are eager to learn and advocate for neurodivergent minds.
