The Ministry of Youth and Sports, in partnership with the Perak State Youth and Sports Department, is going to organise the 2025 edition of the National Youth Day Celebration at Perak Youth & Sports Complex (KOMBES) on 17 & 18 May 2025 (Saturday & Sunday).
With the theme of “Yakin Boleh” (Confidently Can), the event aims to empower youth and foster leadership, innovation, and social engagement. Supported by organizations such as JBSN, belia.my, ASEAN Youth, Team MAS, and Perak Sejahtera 2030, the celebration promises an exciting lineup of activities catering to young leaders nationwide.
Firstly, the 2 days of National Youth Day 2025 celebration consists ivarious types of fun events, such as
- Malaysian Ethnic Clothing Competition (9AM to 12PM, 17 May only)
- Pavilion Port by Rakan Muda

As part of the National Youth Day 2025 celebrations, a Malaysian Ethnic Clothing Competition will take place on May 17 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Perak Youth & Sports Complex (KOMBES). The competition was open to Malaysians aged 13-45, where it aims to showcase Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, promoting appreciation for traditional attire.
Furthermore, this competition was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Malaysian Association of Youth Clubs (M.A.Y.C.). The event encourages diversity and unity through fashion. Participants can register via the QR code provided in the official event poster.
In celebration of National Youth Day, the Style & Trend Port—Fashion & Modeling will take place to showcase Muslimah fashion, kebaya, and classic attire. The event highlights Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage while embracing a modern twist on traditional styles.
