LUMUT: The Temasya Budaya @ Negeri Perak 2025 is set to bring vibrant sights and sounds to the grounds of the Manjung Municipal Council Stadium from June 26 to 29, offering four days of art, cultural and heritage showcases.
Organised by the National Department for Culture and Arts (JKKN) Perak in collaboration with the Perak State Cultural Council, the event is also supported by the Manjung District and Land Office as well as the Manjung Municipal Council.
Running from 9am to 11pm daily, the festival will feature over 20 engaging programmes, including stage performances, cultural demonstrations, local product showcases and exhibitions by participating agencies.
Among the main attractions are the Rebana Perak Extravaganza – Moh Rebana 5.0, and a Gala Opening Night featuring performances by artistes such as Nadeera Zaini, Fairuz Selamat and Hidayah Halim, alongside cultural groups including TLDM Lumut and the JKKN Perak Music Combo.
Other crowd favourites include the Cultural Arts Clinic, Moh Berghambat, Senam Seni 2.0, Moh Melabun: Origins of Manjung District, and the Children’s Arts Carnival.
A total of 15 competitions will be held during the event, such as Si Bulus Comel (cat show), Traditional Mixed Dance, Chinese Idol, Recycled Fashion, Tinta Jawi (Jawi Calligraphy), Nasyid, and Folk Games @ Manjung.
Complementing the festivities will be cultural side events and demonstrations, including silat, wushu, silambam, Chinese calligraphy, pensol music, and a Classic Motorcycle Auto Show.
