TAIPING: An engagement session was held at Dewan Teratai, Wisma Perbandaran Taiping, with traders from Arked Siang Malam Pasar Taiping.
This initiative is a proactive step by the Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) to ensure a smooth relocation process for business operations to the upgraded building.
A total of 27 out of 29 food and beverage traders attended and showed commitment to the discussions.
The session aimed to present the business operation guidelines that must be followed prior to the relocation to the Arked Siang Malam Pasar Taiping building.
It was intended to ensure that traders are clear on the procedures and requirements set by the local authority so that the relocation process can be conducted in an orderly and efficient manner.
Additionally, the session served as a platform for traders to voice their views and raise any concerns related to the relocation process.
MPT greatly values the cooperation and openness of the traders in expressing their opinions to ensure that all issues can be addressed collectively.
This effort reflects MPT’s commitment to protecting the interests of traders and creating a more conducive and organized business environment in the future.
The session was coordinated by MPT’s Director of Licensing and Enforcement, Roslee Ahmad Rafie, and was attended by three Council Members, Lau Chang Ee, Ng Khai Ghee, and Lim Cheng Aik.
