MANJUNG: Several main roads around Manjung have been closed and diverted in stages starting yesterday until the conclusion of the Madani Rakyat 2025 Program in Perak.
The program will be held at Dataran Lumut from Friday to Sunday.
Manjung District Police Chief, ACP Hasbullah Abd Rahman, stated that Jalan Titi Panjang is closed from the junction of Jalan Iskandar Shah near the Pemborong Hasil Laut Anak Kampung Pangkor shop towards the Lumut Jetty junction.
“Additionally, a one-way road diversion is in place on Jalan Titi Panjang starting from the Lumut Jetty junction heading toward the Jalan Iskandar Shah/Jalan Titi Panjang junction.
“From Friday to Sunday, a one-way diversion will also be implemented on Jalan Iskandar Shah from the Jalan Titi Panjang junction to the Lumut Jetty junction.
“There will also be a diversion from the junction of Jalan Nahkoda Mohamad Taib (next to Restoran Nasi Ayam Bakar Tapah Road @ Lumut) heading toward Jalan Raja Musa,” he said in a statement.
In light of this, road users — especially Manjung residents — are advised to plan their journeys to avoid traffic congestion.
The public is also encouraged to use alternative routes where possible to reach their respective destinations.
