Teja State Assembly organizes ‘Perak Pawsitive Initiative’ program

IPOH: Residents in Gopeng, especially those in the Teja State Assembly constituency, are encouraged to participate in the ‘Perak Pawsitive Initiative’ program.

This is a community effort aimed at helping stray animals and fostering a more compassionate and responsible environment.

The Perak Pawsitive Initiative in Teja will take place from June 13 to 15 (Friday to Sunday) at the Lawan Kuda Multipurpose Hall.

Program highlights include educational sessions on animal care, pet health check-ups, volunteer activities, and animal welfare efforts.

There will also be donation drives and fundraising for animal shelters.

For dog owners, there is an opportunity to register your pet and get it neutered for only RM100.

This program also aims to build a more animal-conscious and caring Perak.
