Mohammad Azlin Appointed New Perak Deputy Police Chief

IPOH: Perak has welcomed a new Deputy Police Chief with the appointment of Deputy Commissioner (DCP) Mohammad Azlin Sadari to the post.

He succeeds DCP Zulkafli Sariaat, who has retired from the force.

Before this, Mohammad Azlin served as the Deputy Director of the Wildlife Crime Bureau, Intelligence and Special Investigations Division under the Department of Internal Security and Public Order at Bukit Aman.

The 52-year-old senior officer, a native of Alor Pongsu in Kerian, previously held the position of Subang Jaya District Police Chief in Selangor.

The handing-over ceremony was witnessed by Perak Police Chief, Comm Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin, at the Perak Contingent Senior Police Officers’ Mess here.

Zulkafli, who joined the police force in 1986, served for 39 years before his retirement. He was appointed as Perak Deputy Police Chief on July 16, 2024.
