Perak State Police cadet marching competition cultivates disciplined students

IPOH: Student participation in uniformed co-curricular activities is crucial, as it exposes them to various skills beyond the classroom.

To showcase active and disciplined students, the Perak State-Level Royal Malaysia Police Cadet Corps Marching Competition was held.

The event, which took place at the Air Operations Force Training Base (PLPGU) in Ipoh, involved over 200 students representing their respective District Police Headquarters (IPD).

The competition aimed to test the participants’ mental and physical endurance and foster a spirit of teamwork among them.

This event also serves to nurture and enhance students’ potential, encouraging healthy competition while instilling strong values and resilience in facing challenges.

In the male category, IPD Bagan Datuk emerged as the champion, followed by IPD Taiping in second place and IPD Batu Gajah in third.

In the female category, IPD Taiping took first place, with IPD Batu Gajah and IPD Ipoh finishing second and third respectively.

The Best Male Platoon Leader award was won by Cadet Muhammad Nasrullah Azmin from IPD Taiping, while Cadet Qisrina Amni Rosli from IPD Ipoh received the Best Female Platoon Leader award.

Earlier, the event’s closing ceremony was officiated by the Perak State Education Director, Safuan Raba’ai, and was also attended by the Chief of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department of the Perak Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), SAC Zaharudin Rasip.
