IPOH: The damaged low-voltage supply box (feeder pillar) along Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun here, which has caused the area to remain pitch dark at night, has yet to be repaired.
According to a complainant, although the issue has long been raised and even received attention from the State Assemblyman (ADUN), no action has been taken by the relevant authorities.
They added that the damage needs to be addressed urgently, as it poses a danger to road users who frequently travel along that route, especially during dark hours.
“The location is near Bulatan Sultan Abdullah, in front of MGS School and Vegan Delights Cafe.
“As for the feeder pillar issue on Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun, MBI (Ipoh City Council) has yet to act. The road is still in total darkness at night, and we hope it will be fixed soon,” they told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.
Previously, Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic reported that the stretch of Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun remains dark at night due to streetlights being non-functional after the feeder pillar was hit.
