BIDOR: If left unchecked, dengue outbreaks can spread and pose serious threats to communities.
With that in mind, the ASEAN Dengue Day Celebration for Perak 2025, combined with the Batang Padang District leg of the National Agenda for a Healthy Malaysia Tour, delivered a strong message to fight dengue together.

Held with much enthusiasm at SMJK Choong Hua, Bidor, the program was organized by the Batang Padang District Health Office, in collaboration with the Perak State Health Department and the school.
The event aimed to raise public awareness of the dangers of dengue and to encourage healthy living among the local population.

A variety of activities were held throughout the event, including a 2KM ‘Funwalk Search & Destroy’ plogging activity, interactive exhibitions, health screenings, and educational talks.
In addition, several competitions were organized to attract student and community participation, such as coloring contests, poster design, and digital infographic creation.
More than just an awareness campaign, the program also served as a platform to instill the values of a clean, disease-free, and health-conscious community.
