IPOH: The state of Perak is set to ignite the spirit of patriotism with the organization of the State-Level Launch Ceremony of National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang 2025.
It is scheduled to take place this Friday (15 August) at the Sultan Azlan Shah Roundabout, Meru Raya, Ipoh, starting at 4:00 PM.
This annual event is organized to instill love for the country among the people and to strengthen unity in conjunction with the upcoming National Day celebration.
With the theme “Moh kome orang Perak! Kite semarakkan Bulan Kebangsaan dan Kibar Jalur Gemilang” (“Come on, people of Perak! Let’s ignite the National Month and Fly the Jalur Gemilang”), the state government calls on all citizens of Perak to liven up this grand celebration.
Various exciting activities await visitors, including performances by popular artists, the PENTARAMA Merdeka@HOHO program, and a variety of entertainment and informational segments suitable for the whole family.
The public is also encouraged to fly the Jalur Gemilang (Malaysian flag) at their homes, business premises, and vehicles as a sign of support and love for the country.
The event is expected to receive an enthusiastic response from the local community and will serve as a platform to heighten patriotic spirit ahead of August 31.
