Calling all pickleball fans and those who have never held a paddle before! The pickleball buzz in Ipoh is getting bigger than ever, and you can join the fun next Saturday, 23rd August, at the brand-new Botani Sports Hub.
Whether you’re an absolute beginner, a curious first-timer, or looking for a family activity to enjoy together, this event is designed for you.
Best of all, no experience is needed.
You’ll be guided by a friendly team of professionals, so all you have to do is show up and have fun.
Organised by ViQ Sports in collaboration with Botani Sports Hub by TAIKO and TAS Studio, the Pickleball Experience is set to give participants a guided session on the sport, a photobooth experience, a Merdeka Limited Edition T-shirt customisation service with heatpress, a healthy shake, and the option of the Style & Play Package that includes the latest ViQ sportswear.
There’s also a lucky draw with exciting prizes, Inside Scoop vouchers for the first 30 pax to arrive and FREE trampoline trial class voucher for redemption.
For adults, the Style & Play Package is priced at RM108 and offers value worth RM200. It includes a ViQ Pleated Dink Skort, Spectrum Tee Shirt, DIY Your Tee Service, a healthy shake, a two-hour pickleball trial, and a RM30 shopping voucher.
If you’re a male participant or simply prefer not to wear a skort, you can request shorts instead during registration.
On event day, participants will be led to a booth to try on the skorts, choose the fit they feel best in, and select their preferred colour.
Kids aged 4 to 12 can enjoy a similar package for RM68, valued at RM130++, which includes a Spectrum Kids Tee, DIY Your Tee Service, a healthy shake, a two-hour pickleball trial, and a RM30 shopping voucher.
For those who already have their gear and outfit but still want the experience, the Experience Only Package is available at RM68 for adults and RM48 for kids, including a shopping voucher, a healthy shake, and the pickleball trial.
The event schedule begins with arrival and registration from 8:30 AM, where participants will receive their goodies and stamp cards.
This will be followed by a welcome and briefing at 8:50 AM, before starting the activity rotations from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, which include pickleball coaching, the photobooth, T-shirt printing, and drink collection.
The event concludes with a lucky draw and closing session from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
Paddles and balls will be provided for all participants, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Botani Sports Hub is located at Botani Village, Bandar Seri Botani, with ample free parking available.
The area is surrounded by eateries such as Burger King, Inside Scoop, Coffee Bean, Zus Coffee, and Chagee, along with the Econsave hypermarket.
You’ll find Botani Sports Hub on the first floor of Botani Village, marked by a large “Botani Sports Hub” sign.
This is a ticketed and private event, open to singles, couples, and families.
